HEROIN EPIDEMIC FILM & DISCUSSION MAY 15

Yorktown teen Justin Veatch’s death from a heroin overdose, and his family’s struggle to understand and help stop this epidemic, is chronicled in ““Whispering Spirits .” This free screening of the documentary will be followed by an interactive discussion led by prominent local Psychiatrist Dr. Joseph Carbone, of Mt. Sinai and Found Winds Hospital, where he evaluates and treats patients with substance use disorders. Presented by First Hebrew’s Social Action Committee. All welcome.
