Houses that Sold This Week in Our Community

The real estate sales this week in Yorktown and nearby communities offered an interesting variety of homes, both on the low and high end. 

A couple of handyman specials contrasted in price and neighborhood with those in more upscale settings, demonstrating that our area offers varied opportunities for all budgets.

At the same time, selling prices, compared with list prices, have held relatively steady, holding firm to the belief that we have reached the bottom of the market and home prices might start appreciating once again before the end of the year.

A good exercise for readers interested in the housing market is to compare the features of your own home with those indicated for homes sold to have a good sense of where your own home’s value stands right now.
