Identity Theft and Consumer Fraud Prevention at the Somers Library

Identity Theft & Consumer Fraud Prevention: March 23rd at 6 pm.

ID theft is one of the most common crimes to strike consumers. It has grown in

frequency and taken on new forms that may be more difficult to detect and correct.

Have you or a relative already been the innocent victim of such a crime? Before falling prey to such scams, educate yourself, look for the red flags and know what to avoid. If you are victimized, know what prompt steps to take to minimize the damage. Take proper precautions and don’t be a victim. This important program is free to the general public as a service of your local Better Business Bureau.
