Jefferson Valley Mall Road to Relay!
Come to Jefferson Valley Mall on Saturday, April 2nd from 12-3PM!
Join us for one of Yorktown’s Relay for Life kick-off events of this year, “Jefferson Valley Mall; On the Road to Relay!” On Saturday, April 2nd from 12:00 – 3:00 pm, Center Court will be dressed up in all purple in celebration of Relay for Life. Guests will enjoy light-bites, entertainment, giveaways, meeting the local teams & more!
This year’s Relay for Life theme is the Olympics, and the Jefferson Valley Mall is hosting the first “Kids Olympics!” There will be prizes, fun obstacles, and a whole lot of relaying. The three categories of games are:
1. The Diaper Derby (for the speedy crawlers)
2. Toddler Trek (for those walking up to age 3)
3. Kids Kick it with Relay (ages 4-10)
In addition, local bakeries will have a chance to participate in a “bake-off” to support the relay efforts. The bake off will consists of cakes, cupcakes and/or pies that fit this year’s Relay for Life’s Olympic theme!
