Join us for Sunday School at First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown Starting September 14

Children and youth, from preschool through high school, are invited to join our Sunday School classes starting September 14 at 9:30 am.

Our Church School (Sunday School) welcomes children each Sunday morning during the school year, preschoolers through teenage youth. We have separate curricula for up to grade 4, 5th and 6th graders, and 7th grade and up.

In the 4th grade and under age group, kids explore one Bible story for two to four weeks, attending a different workshop each week. In every workshop, kids open the Bible and dig into the story in lively, age-appropriate ways. Workshop options include: art, Bible skills and games, Digital Disciples (computer lab/video) and science. This age group also participates in a “mini worship service” before each workshop.

The Connect curriculum for 5th and 6th graders takes tweens on a journey through the Old Testament and into the New Testament, exploring the connections between several stories each week. The Reform curriculum for teens engages with humor, imaginative biblical experiences, and honest answers to faith questions.
