On a foggy and rainy night in Somers, the homecoming crowd’s spirits were dampened when the Gaels trailed St. Dom’s of L.I. 18-0 at the half. The standing room only crowd ended up going home happy as Kennedy fought their way back to win 28-24 and clinch their first winning season in the tough CHSAA since moving from Section 1.
