Lake Peekskill Woman Accused of Stealing Perfume from Store

YORKTOWN, NY — A Lake Peekskill woman was accused of stealing a bottle of perfume in Yorktown.

Yorktown Police charged Tiffany M. Walters, 34, with misdemeanor petit larceny.

Police said they were called to Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall Jan. 17 around 3:30 p.m.

An investigation found an unidentified woman stole a bottle of perfume worth $39, police said.

Investigators identified the suspect as Walters and she was contacted.

She turned herself in voluntarily at Police Headquarters and was arrested.

Walters was processed and released on $250 bail.

Her next court appearance will be in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 16.
