Man Steals $14K+ From Yorktown Honda Dealer: Police
Police said the thefts occurred over the course of a year.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Cortlandt Manor man faces a felony charge after being accused of stealing from a car dealership over the past year. Yorktown police said Thomas V. Rubino, 66, of Nordic Drive East in Cortlandt Manor, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Police were sent April 10 to investigate a theft at Curry Honda on Crompond Road in Yorktown Heights.
Police found that Rubino stole about $14,623.48 from the dealership by completing fraudulent merchandise returns and by removing cash from the register within the store. Police said the thefts occurred between April 12, 2017, and April 10, 2018.

Rubino appeared at Yorktown Police Headquarters May 1 and was arrested.
He was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

Rubino’s next court appearance is set for May 22.
