Man Waving Hunting Knife Arrested in Domestic Incident: Yorktown Police
Police said he was threatening to stab his victims.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man, who police said brandished a hunting knife, was arrested Tuesday after a domestic incident.
Police said Daniel J. Ventrudo, 28, of Nutley Circle, was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors.
On Tuesday, police were dispatched to a Yorktown resident after a report of an active domestic incident involving a knife.

When police got there, they said Ventrudo was threatening to stab the victims while waving a hunting knife at them.
He was arrested and taken to Yorktown Police headquarters.

Ventrudo was arraigned by a judge who issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victims and set bail in the amount of $5,000 bail or $7,500 bond.
He was unable to post bail and was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections.
Ventrudo is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 2.
