Peekskill Man Accused Of Stealing From Lowe's

Police said the thefts took place in October.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Peekskill man was accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from Lowe's. Yorktown police said Nathaniel Dustin Dain, 38, of Peekskill, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Police said, on Dec. 10, they received a report from Lowe's saying that an employee and an unknown person had been stealing property.

An investigation found Dain, from Oct. 3 through Oct. 29, stole property valued at $4,146 from the store.

He voluntarily appeared at police headquarters Thursday and was arrested.

After arraignment in the Yorktown Justice Court, Dain was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Feb. 18.
