Police Accuse Driver of Speeding, Intoxication

New York State Police arrested Emily S. Vallario, 32, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle the Yonkers resident was operating on the Taconic State Parkway for speeding on March 7. While speaking with her, they noted clues that indicated she was driving while intoxicated. Vallario was also charged with unlawfully possessing a controlled substance.

Vallario supplied police with a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content
of .14 percent and was issued traffic tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Yorktown Court.
