Police Said Yorktown Owner Didn't License His Dogs
A complaint was received about two dogs jumping on children.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown dog owner has been charged with not licensing his dogs.
Yorktown Police said they received a call the morning of Oct. 19 from an area resident who told them their children were jumped on by two dogs owned by Matthew Jaros, 46, of Saw Mill River Road.
Police said the investigated and found the dogs did not have licenses.

Jaros was charged with two counts of failure to license a dog, violations of the New York State Agriculture and Markets law.
He was issued an appearance ticket and was processed at his residence.

Jaros is schedule to to answer the charges in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 17.
