Guiseppe V. Marsala, 29, is due in Somers town court to answer charges of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
State police said Marsala was arrested Sept. 4 at his home on Quaker Church Road after they were called there on a menacing complaint.
He threatened his girlfriend, 28, with a knife during a dispute, police said.
