Private-Sector Job Creation Strong in Westchester
State officials say it's been a good 12 months.

Between August 2014 and August 2015, New York State’s private sector job count increased by 163,000, or 2.1 percent, according to state labor officials.
The Rockland-Westchester-Orange county region outpaced that slightly; but, in the Putnam-Dutchess region continuing loss of government jobs (-200) outpaced the creation of private-sector jobs (+100).
