Putnam Man Charged with Violating Order of Protection in Yorktown
He faces a misdemeanor contempt charge.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Putnam Valley man was arrested for violating an order of protection.
Yorktown police said Zachary John Heady, 24, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
Police were dispatched at about 6:35 a.m. September 12 to a Commerce Street resdience on a report of an alleged violation of a temporary order of protection.

An investigation found that Heady was at that location in violation of that order of protection and was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.
He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

Heady is schedule to return to Yorktown Court September 20 at 6 p.m.
