UPDATE: Power Outages Continue in Hudson Valley, Freeze Warning Issued for Southern Westchester
Ulster County is still numbered over 1,000, and Dutchess County could get up to 8 inches of snow.

UPDATE—5:20 p.m., April 3, 2016: Power outages continue Sunday afternoon after the rain, snow and wind that went through the Hudson Valley overnight.
Now southern Westchester County is under a freeze warning from 8 p.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Monday.
And Dutchess County is under a winter weather advisory from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, with snow accumulations from 3 to 6 inches in valley areas and 4 to 8 inches in the higher elevations.

As of 5 p.m., Con Edison still had 749 customers off the grid.

Estimated restoration for all except three communities is now 8 a.m. Monday, April 4.
New Castle, North Castle and Croton-on-Hudson have an estimated restoration of 11 p.m. Sunday, April 3.
NYSEG customers in Westchester with outages number 112. The number of outages in Bedford is now 77.
Dutchess County NYSEG outages are in Amenia and Pawling, totaling 21.
The number of outages in Ulster is down to 2. Putnam is down to 182, with 160 in Carmel alone.
Outages for Orange & Rockland customers in Rockland County are now at 349. Suffern has 168 and Clarkstown is at 78.
Central Hudson’s outages in Dutchess are at 176. There are 76 in Orange, 52 in Putnam and Ulster is the most, with 1,447.

With most of the Hudson Valley under high wind warnings, and experiencing gusts as high as 50 to 60 mph, it’s no surprise there are power outages Sunday morning.
The snow has moved through, along with the front that is causing the winds.
Con Edison’s outage map is reporting 2,025 customers without electricity as of 11:15 a.m. Sunday.
Most restoration times are listed for 4 p.m. Sunday, but locations such as Greenburgh, with 69 customers, Mount Pleasant, with 337 customers, and New Rochelle, with 185 customers, the estimated restoration time is 8 p.m. Sunday.

NYSEG’s outage map information is reporting 380 customers in Westchester County without power, 2 in Ulster and, hardest-hit Putnam with 1,111 customers without electricity.

Central Hudson is reporting 626 outages in Dutchess County, 300 in Orange, 59 in Putnam and 3,593 in Ulster County.

Orange & Rockland is reporting 498 customers in Rockland County without electricity. Hardest hit were Rampao and Suffern. At this writing the damage assessment is in progress.
