The 21-year-old was on probation, police said.

Yorktown, NY — A 21-year-old man on probation was arrested June 30 on multiple charges, including possessing a weapon and resisting arrest.

Yorktown police said Sean Deleon, 21, of Shrub Oak, was taken into custody after officers from the Westchester County Department of Probation went to his residence June 22 to arrest him for, what they said was, a probation violation.

When the probation officers got to Deleon’s home, he was found hiding in the attic and, police said, he jumped onto one of the officers, resisted arrest and fled out of the house on foot.
