Shrub Oak Woman Faces Felony DWI Charge In Putnam County
She was pulled over for a traffic infraction.

SHRUB OAK, NY — A Shrub Oak woman faces a felony drunk driving charge after she was pulled over for a driving infraction Aug. 8 in the Town of Carmel, Putnam County. Around 8:08 a.m., a Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Jessica Santoro, 28, of Shrub Oak, because he said she was intoxicated.
Due to a previous driving while intoxicated conviction in 2015, Santoro was charged with felony DWI. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
She was arraigned in the Town of Patterson Justice Court and sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 bail, which was posted later that day to secure her release pending further action in the Town of Carmel Justice Court.

The report of the arrest was posted on the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department website Sept. 14 in a roundup of drunken driving arrests for August.
