Sleepy Hollow Man Accused Of Driving With Revoked License
Police also said the man left the scene of an accident.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Sleepy Hollow man was accused of driving while his license had been revoked. Yorktown police said Jose E. Squipay, 43, of Sleepy Hollow, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and unlicensed driver, fail to yield right of way, leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident and driver's view obstructed, traffic violations.
Authorities said an officer was assigned to investigate an auto accident with property damage around 8 p.m. June 9 near the intersection of East Main Street and Hill Boulevard.
Police said Squipay fled from the scene before returning on his own a short time later.

A check of his license found that his driving privileges had been revoked in New York due to alcohol-related offenses, police said.
Squipay was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was processed.

He was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on $250 bail.
Squipay is next due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court July 9.
