Speed Enforcement on I-684 in Somers May 9
Most of the tickets issued were for speeding.
On May 9, 2015 between the hours of 8AM and 2PM, the State Police in Somers conducted a Speed Enforcement Initiative focusing on Interstate 684.
Police issued a total of 42 tickets, most of them for speeding.
This highway safety initiative perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement, police said.
