Taconic Bridge Over Reservoir Being Refurbished
Northbound traffic will be diverted to southbound lanes during part of project

Work is continuing on a $26 million project to rehabilitate the bridge carrying the northbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway over the New Croton Reservoir in Yorktown.
During parts of the project northbound traffic will be diverted and share the southbound lanes of the parkway, as was done several years ago during another project involving the bridge, which was built in 1931.
The diversion is expected to begin in spring 2012. Work is expected to be completed during the winter of 2012-13.
