Teen Punches Dad, Kicks Out Window: Police
The 17-year-old is facing a felony charge, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown teenager is facing a felony charge after being accused of punching his father and kicking out a window.
The Yorktown Police Department said the 17-year-old, whose name was not released, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Police said, shortly before 11:30 a.m. Sunday, a report of a domestic incident was received.

Officers who went to the location said they met with the victims and started an investigation.
They found that the teen had an argument with his parents during which he punched his father in the arm and kicked a window, causing it to shatter, police said.

The 17-year-old left prior to the officers showing up, but returned home, at which time he was arrested without incident.
He was taken to the police department where he was processed.
A judge arraigned the teenager and issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victims.
Police said the teen was released on his own recognizance to the custody of his parents.
He was due to appear in the Youth Part of the Westchester County Family Court Monday.
