The arrests were part of a joint investigation by the county’s Department of Public Safety and the Lewisboro Police Department; the three are alleged to have sold heroin to undercover officers in Lewisboro.
The joint investigation began after Lewisboro Police Officer David Alfano “developed information about heroin sales occurring in the town. Undercover officers from the county police Narcotics Unit were subsequently able to make purchases of heroin, leading to the arrests of three suspects,” according to county police.

“I am grateful to Chief [Frank] Secret and the Lewisboro Police Department for being a partner in combatting the scourge of heroin in our communities,” said Longworth in a statement.
