Volunteers Recognized at Westchester Jewish Council Ceremony

They were honored for service to their community.

More than 450 people turned out March 2 to honor 20 volunteers at the 21st annual Julian Y. Bernstein Distinguished Service Awards.

The ceremony was held at the JCC of Harrison.

Honorees received awards for their service from members of the JYBDSA Committee.

The program also included a special memorial tribute to Noah Rockowitz, an executive board member of the Westchester Jewish Council.
