Westchester Teen Faces Felony Charges In Domestic Violence Stabbing

The stabbing victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center by EMS with apparently non-life-threatening injuries.

SOMERS, NY — A teenager is facing felony charges after state troopers were called to a Westchester home, New York State Police announced today.

On May 22, officers were called to a home in Somers after a report of a domestic violence incident in which a victim had been stabbed.

Investigators said that 19-year-old Marino DeRosa, of Somers, instigated a domestic incident and stabbed the other person in the home.

DeRosa was arrested for felony second degree assault, and misdemeanor fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in the town of Somers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.
