What Are Your Gas Buying/Price Checking Habits? [Poll]

The lowest price for a gallon of gas in Yorktown is $3.83 at the Citgo in Yorktown, according to Mapquest's new feature allows you to search for gas prices on a map.

Gas station owners in the area have been putting up signs for some time now telling customers they will get a discounted price if they pay in cash. County Legislator Mike Kaplowitz (D-Somers) is saying that "signage posted at these establishments fails to explicitly inform customers the higher price of gas if the payment is made by a debit or credit card."

He will hold a press conference today to talk about legislation he is proposing that will amend a county law that "addresses deceptive trade practices in gasoline pricing signs," he said. The press conference will take place at Autobahn/Citgo Yorktown gas station, located on Saw Mill River Road.
