Will The Chill Recede: Yorktown's Work Week Weather

Here's the latest on how Hurricane Irma might affect Somers.

SOMERS, NY — Even though Mallomars have returned to store shelves across the Hudson Valley, that doesn't mean chilly weather is locked in. In fact, we'll see temperatures climb to nearly normal at the beginning of the work week. And they might keep climbing....or maybe not.

"Exactly where Irma’s remnants settle in will determine whether we see temps in the 80s by mid to late week ... or if we get our temperatures pinned down in the 70s, due to the clouds and showers left over from the tropical weather," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

The chance of rain will increase as the week progresses, though we shouldn't see more than breezy conditions as now-Tropical Storm Irma dissipates while pushing northeast.
