WORKSHOP: Prevent Many Challenging Behaviors in Young Children Before They Start

Learn the most effective proven strategies to use for challenging behavior while supporting social emotional competence in young children.

The Pyramid Model, when put into practice will significantly help to reduce incidences of challenging behavior. The Pyramid Model uses evidence-based practices to create a system that best supports social emotional competence in young children. These intensive workshops will guide participants step by step through proven methods and practices that when put into place, and utilized correctly will help the participants to better understand reasons behind challenging behaviors. The participants will also receive training in proven methods that encourage and support a child’s social and emotional well-being while reducing incidence of challenging behavior.

PRESENTER: Caroline Doty, owner of Connect the Dots New York, is a certified school psychologist, special education teacher, elementary education teacher and early childhood educator. She has over 25 years of experience in the early childhood education field. Caroline is a credentialed trainer and part of the master cadre of trainers for the Pyramid Model in New York State.
