Yorktown 18YO Hosts Underage Drinking Party, Has Stun Gun: Police

Police were called to a 'loud party' on Linette Court in Yorktown Heights.

Yorktown, NY — An 18-year-old Yorktown Heights resident was arrested at an underage drinking party while he was in possession of a stun gun, police said.

The man, whose name was withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminal nuisance, both misdemeanors.

On July 16, around 10:48 p.m., Yorktown police were called to a Linette Court address on a complaint about a loud party.

When police got to the location, police said the man had a stun gun and was hosting an underage drinking party at his home.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

The man was released to a family member and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court August 18.
