Yorktown Chamber of Commerce Announces Person and Organization of the Year

Anna Freyer of Freyers Florist has been named "Business Person of the Year 2012" and Support Connection has been named "Organization of the Year 2012" by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber will celebrate the appointments at their annual Dinner Dance in early 2012. The exact date and location will be announced later on in the year. 

Other awards given that night will be the John W Chase Award and the Chairman's Award. The Chamber reserves the Annual Dinner Dance for recognition to people and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the community.

"It is our pleasure to recognize people and organizations that have contributed to the quality of life in our community and to celebrate their achievements," Chamber of Commerce President Joseph Visconti said.
