Yorktown Holiday Light Parade Road Closings Set
The roads will be shut down until the conclusion of the parade, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department will hold its Holiday Light parade at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016.
The parade will begin on Front Street near the Yorktown Highway Department and will travel west on Underhill Avenue to the intersection with Commerce Street. It will then continue on Commerce Street to Veterans Road, concluding with ceremonies at the Yorktown Community Cultural Center.
The Yorktown Police Department is advising motorists that the following roads will be closed from approximately 6:15 p.m. until the conclusion of the parade, which is estimated to be about one hour:

- Commerce Street fromKear Street to Veterans Road
- Veterans Road from Commerce Street to Maple Hill Street
- Kear Street at Underhill Avenue
- Downing Drive at Commerce Street
- Hanover Road at Commerce Street
