Yorktown Man Accused Of Violating Orders Of Protection
Police took him to the hospital and arrested him after he was discharged.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of violating two orders of protection.
The Yorktown Police Department said Saad Khan, 33, of Yorktown, was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, misdemeanors.
Police said, around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to a Yorktown home for a report of a medical emergency.

They found Khan inside the home of another person.
Khan was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital for medical treatment.

An investigation by police found Khan had violated the "stay away" provision of two duly sworn orders of protection.
Khan was arrested upon being discharged from the hospital. He was taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
After being arraigned, a judge set bail at $10,000 and bond at $25,000, neither of which Khan could post.
He was sent to the Westchester County Jail and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court March 11.
