Yorktown Man Faces Drug Possession and Drunk Driving Charges
He was arrested on the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant.

Willman E. Romero, 49, faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony, and Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
At about 1:20 a.m. Dec. 3, New York state troopers stopped a vehicle traveling on the Taconic State Parkway for failing to maintain its lane.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Romero, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of approximately 14.0 grams of cocaine, police said. He provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .15 percent.
The Yorktown resident was subsequently arraigned before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

He was scheduled to reappear in Mount Pleasant Court on Dec. 4.
