Yorktown Man Faces Grand Larceny Charge

A Yorktown woman reported a stolen credit card.

Robert M. Loftus, 22, faces a felony charge of grand larceny connected to the theft of a credit card.

The alleged crime was reported by a Central Street resident who told police Sept. 4 that a credit card had been stolen from her purse.

Loftus, a resident of Fox Meadow Road in Yorktown, turned himself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters later that night. He was arraigned and released on $100 bail. He is due back in court Sept. 9.
