Yorktown Police Present National Night Out

YORKTOWN, NY — National Night Out is coming to Yorktown.

The Yorktown Police Department will be presenting its first-ever National Night Out from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3.

It will be happening at Granite Knolls Park.

The event is a chance for residents to come out and meet the men and women who serve the community.

According to organizers, the Yorktown Police Benevolent Association will be grilling burgers and hot dogs, thanks to BJ's Wholesale Club and the Yorktown Lions for their generous food donations.

Other attractions will include either a bouncy house or inflatable slide, music from a DJ and Mr. Softee doling out sweet treats.

Supporters from Alliance for Safe Kids, MADD, United for the Troops and Hope Not Handcuffs will also be on hand.
