Yorktown's Work Week Weather: Dog Days of Summer

SOMERS, NY — We're kicking off a late July work week with weather that's, well, summery.

"A SW wind will pull a fair bit of humidity into our region," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "That should make for a bit of a sticky day… but not a completely uncomfortable day." However, he pointed out, "Due to the heating of the day, and the mid level trough that is in our area… atmospheric instability could be high enough for one or two of these storms to become severe."
