• Ex-WakeMed, Morrisville police officer charged with child sex crimes (abc11.com) — An Angier resident and former law enforcement officer has been arrested on serious felony child sex charges stemming from an alleged 2022 incident in Johnston County. Authorities say the man, who later worked for WakeMed’s campus police, surrendered to deputies and is being held on a substantial secured bond while the investigation continues.
