📰 News we're reading

• Charlotte considers another Bojangles Coliseum investment — this time for parking (charlotteobserver.com) — Charlotte City Council is weighing a $6 million plan to add 219 parking spaces next to Bojangles Coliseum, aiming to offset the loss of 2,000 spaces from redevelopment at the Park Expo Center. The project, which must be finished by December 2027, could affect parking for graduations, concerts, Checkers games, and the new Charlotte Crown women's basketball team.

• New 'micro-transit' option being offered in west Charlotte: What to know (wbtv.com) — Residents in west Charlotte now have a new CATS micro-transit van service that picks riders up within a defined zone and takes them directly to local destinations. Rides cost $2.20, can be booked through the CATS app, and run from early morning to evening every day, offering seniors and car-free neighbors a more flexible, affordable way to get around.

• Workday Integrations (Financials & Payroll) - ERPA - Hybrid in Charlotte, NC, US (dice.com) — A Workday integrations role is open on a hybrid basis in Charlotte, focusing on end-to-end payroll and financials integrations using tools like Workday Studio, EIB, and REST/SOAP APIs. The position seeks candidates with strong production support experience, plus bonus skills like Kronos/UKG and procurement integrations, especially from government or higher education backgrounds.
