Cornelius Home Prices: October 2026 Market Update
How is the Cornelius housing market doing this fall? 46 Cornelius homes closed in October 2026 at a median price of $692,500, against $510,000 last October. One month in a town this size moves with the mix of homes that happened to sell, so the steadier number is the year: over the last twelve months the Cornelius median is $594,500, up 10%, tied with Davidson for the strongest gain on Lake Norman.
What has changed is the pace. The typical Cornelius home that closed in October took 44 days to go under contract, and 89% closed under their original asking price. There are 186 Cornelius homes for sale today, about 3.9 months of supply, and 49% of them have already cut their price at least once.
