DWI, Drugs, Assault With Deadly Weapon Arrests: Cornelius Police
Six cars were broken into and three stolen in Cornelius last week, according to the police department blotter.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police made six arrests last week, charging individuals with a range of crimes from driving while impaired and drug possession to violating a domestic violence protective order. Officers also charged a man for communicating threats and assault with a deadly weapon, according to the most recent police blotter.
Last week, 13 incidents were reported, including six vehicle break-ins in Cornelius, and three vehicle larcenies, CPD said.
Cornelius officers issued 61 citations last week, 26 of which were for speeding-related offenses. Four people were cited for driving without a license, and nine cited for driving with expired registration and tags.
