16 Vehicle Break-Ins Reported In Davidson: DPD
There's been a rash of vehicle break-ins in Davidson this past week, police said. Here's a rundown of recent crime reports in Davidson.
DAVIDSON, NC — A rash of vehicle break-ins was reported this past week in the Davidson Landing Community, as well as other neighborhoods in town, according to the Davidson Police Department.
According to DPD records, between Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 there were nine vehicle break-ins reported on Southwest Drive, three reported on Torrence Circle and one reported on Portside Drive.
On Dec. 8, a vehicle break-in, as well as a vehicle theft were reported on Julees Walk Way. That same day, another vehicle break-in was reported on Shearer Road.

Police made no arrests in Davidson last week.

Police issued at least 14 citations for various offenses that do not require a court appearance, which included:
- Speeding — 6
- Expired tag — 4
- Expired inspection — 1
- No operator's license — 1
- Stop light/ sign violation — 1
- Failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk — 1
