Christmas In Davidson, Menorah Lighting: This Weekend In Davidson

DAVIDSON, NC — The holiday spirit will be alive and well this weekend in Davidson. The three-day annual Christmas in Davidson holiday festival kicks off Thursday night and will feature strolling Victorian carolers, carriage rides, Santa, special community performances and more. The holiday fun continues Saturday with the North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade and the Santa Experience at Triple Diamond Farm in nearby Mooresville. Sunday, the community celebrates the first night of Hanukkah with the lighting of the Menorah at Temple Kol Tikvah of Lake Norman.

The weekend weather will be less than jolly, however, with showers expected Saturday and Sunday. Daily highs will be in the high 50s, according to the National Weather Service. You can read more about the weekend forecast here.

Here are five events to check out in Davidson:

• Christmas In Davidson — Thursday, Nov. 29 — Saturday, Dec. 1. 6 p.m. — 9 p.m. Downtown Davidson.
• Mistletoe Sip & Shop — Friday, Nov. 30, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Downtown Mooresville.
• North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade — Saturday, Dec. 1, 1 p.m. Begins downtown Davidson.
• Santa Experience at Triple Diamond Farm — Saturday, Dec. 1, 2260 London Road, Mooresville. Tickets are $35 per child and may be purchased here.
• 1st Night Menorah Lighting — Sunday, Dec. 2, 4 p.m. Temple Kol Tikvah of Lake Norman, 605 South Street, Davidson.
