• Davidson Police Department earns LEA accreditation (lakenormanpublications.com) — Davidson residents can now count on a fully state-accredited police department, after the Davidson Police Department met 116 professional standards under North Carolina's Law Enforcement Accreditation program. Leaders say the recognition reflects a strong focus on accountable, community-centered policing and ongoing efforts to maintain high-quality public safety services for everyone who lives in town.
