Authorities have released few details so far, and an autopsy is pending with more information promised as the case develops. 
• Supreme Court's Limitation on Wetlands Protection Will Make Flooding Worse (insideclimatenews.org) — New research links weakened federal wetlands protections to billions in added flood losses, and one restoration effort will directly affect Stony Run just outside Dunn in Harnett County. A Cary-based nonprofit plans to repair damaged wetlands there to better protect nearby communities from future storms like Hurricane Matthew.
