• Fair Bluff continues to rebuild after two hurricanes (spectrumlocalnews.com) — Fair Bluff is still rebuilding its downtown and neighborhoods after devastating floods from Hurricanes Matthew and Florence wiped out more than 60 properties and 50 buildings. With over $50 million in grants, the town is replacing homes, converting an old school into apartments, and planning to reopen a former grocery store, even as residents remain wary of the Lumber River’s power.
