• Man sentenced in deadly Farmville hit-and-run expected to be deported (wcti12.com) — A man has been sentenced to 20–33 months in prison for a deadly March hit-and-run crash near Farmville, with federal authorities expecting to deport him afterward. Investigators say his SUV collided with a motorcycle on U.S. 264 near Moye-Turnage Road, killing the rider before the driver fled and was later identified through vehicle damage and a search warrant.
