ā¢ WCC students win design, machining competition (newsargus.com) ā Wayne Community College students in Goldsboro teamed up with the local N.C. Forest Service to design a radioācontrolled machine that drills and delivers fertilizer, winning first place in a national machining competition. Their project beat eight other teams, earning the students an allāexpensesāpaid trip to Los Angeles and new tools, while WCC receives funds for advanced manufacturing supplies and certifications.
