“Despite these positive results, 2020-2021 has been a catastrophic year for the creative community. Some venues are still shuttered, too many artists are still out of work, budgets are tighter than ever, and the future is uncertain as the pandemic continues. While we are proud of the impact of our work, we recognize there is still much more to do,” Deal said. “We are grateful to work alongside many others in the community to celebrate, support, grow, and strengthen the vibrancy of Greensboro through the arts, culture, and creativity.”

Founded in 2019, Creative Greensboro provides support for, ensures access to and drives awareness of Greensboro’s creative community. Through a range of programs, services and partnerships, Creative Greensboro supports the development of a vibrant city. Learn more at www.creativegreensboro.com.
