Funeral arrangements have been finalized for District 7 Guilford County Commissioner Carolyn Q. Coleman. It will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 408 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Greensboro.

Commissioner Coleman died Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Thursday’s service will honor Coleman’s life as a public servant and celebrate her life as a loving parent, grandparent, community leader, civil rights activist, champion for equality, politician and friend

Internment will take place at Commissioner Coleman’s family burial plot in Savannah, Georgia.

A Public Viewing will take place Wednesday, February 2 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
