• Iredell Health Foundation awards $24,000 to Iredell-Statesville Schools for purchase of AEDs (iredellfreenews.com) — Harmony Elementary School is among 16 Iredell-Statesville schools getting brand-new AEDs, replacing devices that have been in use since 1992. Funded by a $24,000 Iredell Health Foundation gift, the upgraded defibrillators and staff training aim to better protect thousands of local students and employees during cardiac emergencies.
